Keep the pressure on Congress for EV funding! The proposed EV funding in the Build Back Better Act would increase tax credits for new and used EVs, broaden access to EVs in underserved communities, electrify school and transit buses, and much more. This is the kind of real EV change we need, but we cannot stop applying pressure until the ink is dry and on the president's desk for signature. Please contact your members of Congress and share this with everyone you know! Take action >> |

Plug In America calls for rapid EV transition at COP26 Thank you to the thousands of Plug In America supporters who signed our declaration for a plug on every new car by 2030 and all zero-emission vehicles by 2035. With our partners in the Global EV Drivers' Alliance, EV drivers from around the world in 28 countries joined the call for a rapid transition to electric vehicles during the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow. Joel Levin, executive director of Plug In America and chair of the Global EV Drivers' Alliance, joined 38 countries, the states of California, New York, Washington, and many U.S. cities in signing on to a COP26 transport declaration calling for all new cars and vans to be zero-emission by 2035 in leading markets and 2040 around the world. Unfortunately, the U.S. did not sign on. Learn more >> |
