National Drive Electric Week continues through Sunday The largest National Drive Electric Week ever is off to a great start, with 135 events down and 187 still to come. Visit the NDEW website to RSVP for an event in your area! Here are a few events happening this weekend: - Atlanta, Georgia: This event will have thousands of attendees, over 200 diverse EV owners showing their vehicles, and special appearances by national EV influencers. Organizers include the EV Club of the South and EVHybridNoire, an organization that increases the number of diverse EV drivers and addresses the specific needs of disadvantaged communities.
- Poolesville, Maryland: One of the biggest NDEW events in the world, local organizers are expecting thousands of attendees to come out to this year’s event, organized by non-profit Poolesville Green.
- Irving, Texas: Organized by the North Central Texas Council of Governments and Dallas Fort Worth Clean Cities, this event in the Dallas suburbs is the biggest display of EVs in Texas. Organizers expect over 200 EVs on display to educate, inform, and excite potential owners. Also on display will be a variety of hand built solar vehicles, including a solar car designed and built by a local high school.
